Taking the open-pit coal mine as an example, the open-pit mining process mainly includes perforation, blasting, mining and loading, transportation and dumping (as well as ore unloading and coal unloading), in which transportation plays a very important role.
For earthwork stripping, except for the transportation link, the process of other links is not standardized and has high flexibility. Taking the excavator as an example, it is necessary to manually judge the excavation location, strength and direction with the naked eye. At present, driverless vehicles are mainly used in transportation. Transportation vehicles include mining trucks, wide body vehicles and muck trucks.
At present, the open-pit coal mine is most suitable for driverless, the open-pit mining operation space, the construction cost of infrastructure is relatively low, the high bandwidth and high-quality communication transmission technology and high-precision positioning technology are easy to realize, and there is no need to consider the potential safety hazards caused by flammable and explosive gases such as gas in the intelligent transformation of equipment.
Specifically, open-pit mining needs to remove the covering on the ore body to obtain the required minerals. Therefore, the basic task of open-pit mining transportation is to transport the rock and soil (i.e. waste rock) stripped from the open-pit stope to the waste dump, and transport the mined ore to the concentrator, crushing station or ore storage yard.
According to the industry prospect forecast report of driverless market released by China Research century, judging from the situation of driverless downstream landing of existing driverless enterprises, most of them are pilot projects. A few first tier enterprises can participate in the normal production and operation of the mine, and it is expected to realize large-scale normal operation before 2025.
