With the frequent occurrence of extreme cold weather in the south, people's demand for heating is becoming more and more urgent. From the perspective of market demand, the heating demand in the South shows a rising stage, with great potential. From the perspective of energy conservation and emission reduction, it is also necessary to guide appropriate centralized heating and refrigeration in the future.
Facing the rapidly developing heating situation, many southern cities have begun to gradually explore the implementation of central heating. However, due to the multiple perspectives of heating cost and residents' consumption, there is a great controversy about the implementation of central heating in the south. Relevant enterprises consider their market opportunities, so the actual landing of heating southward has become the focus of market research.
According to the research project on China's heating market moving south issued by CMRC Zhongyan Century Consulting, according to different heat sources, the central heating scheme in the South can be divided into heat (cold) and electricity combined supply, gas boiler heating, ground (water) source heat pump, industrial waste heat heating, lithium bromide unit and water cooling unit.

Factories, public buildings and residents usually choose heating schemes according to local conditions according to their different resource endowments. At present, most of the non central heating areas in the South have pilot cases of central heating.

Generally, there is no special "heating Office" in southern provinces to manage the thermal industry, and only a few regions have established special heating departments. The main players in the market are not optimistic about the large-scale popularization of central heating, but are optimistic about distributed central heating. In particular, the Yangtze River Delta has a strong economic foundation, rapid industrial development and a large number of factories and public buildings. From the perspective of the government, it is in line with the government's goal of promoting carbon reduction, banning small boilers and energy conservation and emission reduction; From the perspective of users, it meets the needs of users to reduce costs.
Therefore, at present, Anhui, Jiangsu, Zhejiang and other places have implemented central heating in a large area in factories and public buildings, which is feasible to further promote in the future. The main players in the market are optimistic about the southward relocation and landing of factories and public buildings.
